Deposits & Payments
A deposit of $250 per person is required at the time of booking to hold your reservations. Deposit is nonrefundable after confirmation of requested arrangements. Specific deposit and payment requirements apply to cruises and New Year, and this information will be given at the time of booking. Final payment is due upon confirmation for reservations made within 45 days of the date of departure.
Cancellations & Modifications
A service charge of $60 per booking may apply for each change made after the initial booking request has been confirmed.

Within 24 hours of departure, any changes or cancellation will be at your own expense. Special cancellations and modification penalties apply for cruises, New Year and Weddings. This information will be given at the time of booking.
Travel Insurance.
We strongly recommend that you protect your vacation investment with the purchase of our TripMate Cancellation, Interruption and Travel Protection insurance policy (from $129 per person).
- The Travel Insurance covers trip cancellation / interruption, trip delay, baggage / travel documents, accidental death, medical expenses, emergency assistance (accident and sickness), emergency evacuation and repatriation.
Travel Insurance doesn’t cover any delays, cancellations or harm due to acts of war.
Protection of Funds
TravelNet dba TahitiTravel is registered as a seller of travel with the Attorney General of the State of California pursuant to Section 17550 of the California Business and Professions Code, under registration #2039966-40. "Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California". All customers’ deposits and payments are secured in TravelNet’s Trust Account.
Documents Required, Visas
US, Canadian, Mexican and EU citizens need only to have a valid passport good till 6 months after travel date. Citizens of other countries should consult the French consulate. It is solely the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all documents needed are complete and current. Please make sure your names are correctly spelled, or you will NOT be allowed to board your plane.
Pricing
All prices quoted by TravelNet are in US dollars and include costs associated with planning, communication and documentation. According to industry standards, package prices are not subject to an itemization of costs.
Included Features
Hotel accommodations are based on two people sharing a double room or bungalow with private facilities. All itineraries include local taxes, inter-island transportation, round trip hotel transfers, and baggage handling. Sightseeing and meals are included only as specified for each itinerary. Hotels offer complimentary equipment and activities subject to availability. Normal hotel check-in time is 3 p.m., unless you have prepaid the night before. TravelNet reserves the right to change the itinerary sequence and properties if necessary.
Not Included
Meals (except where indicated), beverages, laundry, excess baggage charges, and any items of a personal nature, including the cost of passports and visas, are not included. US Airport Taxes/Fees are not included in website package prices.
Air Fares
The air fare from the US to Tahiti used in the tour packages featured on the TahitiTravel website is economy class fare. A high season and weekend supplement applies for all airlines. APEX rules require that your ticket be issued at least 14 days prior to departure. Some airlines may require Ticket purchase within 1 week after booking. Tickets may be nonrefundable if you cancel after the ticketing deadline date. Cancellation, no-show, or reissue may be subject to severe penalties. Should travel be on an airline other than those specified in the package itineraries, the price may increase. Airfares and featured Packages do no include US Airport Taxes and Fees which may vary and can be up to $200 per person (JFK)
Refunds
Refunds for unused accommodations, tours or other services cannot be given unless such requests are accompanied by a signed statement from the hotel or service supplier stating that a refund is in order. Written refund requests must be received within 30 days of travel. No refund will be made for accommodations or services used, or for unused days for cruises, and yacht charters. Unused meal vouchers are not refundable.
A refund cannot be guaranteed for any unused services. All refunds will be charged an administration fee of $100 per person plus any cancellation fees charged by ground operators.
Responsibility Clause
TravelNet dba TahitiTravel, its agents and employees, act only as agents for the passenger in regard to travel by road, air, sea or by any mode of transportation or local conveyance, and assumes no liability for personal injury, property damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity incurred by any person or tour participant arising out of the negligence of any direct or supplemental air carrier, hotel or person engaged in conveying the passenger, providing rental cars, or rendering any of the services or accommodations being offered in these tours; nor shall TravelNet be responsible for any injuries, death, damages, loss or delay in any means of transportation or by reason of any event beyond the actual control of TravelNet. Any such losses or expenses must be borne by the passenger as tour rates provide for arrangements only as stated in the final itinerary. The right is reserved to substitute hotels of similar category or change schedules without prior notice should circumstances so require. In the event of a change in the itinerary necessitated by factors or conditions beyond the actual control of TravelNet, such as strikes, political and social unrest, war, labor problems, climatic aberrations, or any act of God, no refund can be made nor will credit be given by TravelNet beyond what suppliers can provide or refund. The right is reserved to decline to accept or to retain any person as a member of a trip, or to cancel a trip in all or part due to circumstances beyond the control of TravelNet. All prices quoted in are in US dollars and are based upon current tariffs and currency exchange rates known as of March 1, 2007, and are subject to adjustment at any time prior to issuing documents without prior notification in the event of changes therein. Any such changes will be passed on to the passenger in all cases. Passengers electing to take advantage of sporting equipment offered by the ships, yachts, or other hotels, do so at their own risk. TravelNet expressly discourages the use of motor scooters or similar powered cycles. Baggage is at owner’s risk entirely. The airlines concerned, and their agency and affiliates, are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft. The passenger ticket in use by said airlines, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tickets and/or passenger. The schedules contained herein are subject to change without notice.
