We are thinking about booking Bruno's drift snorkel in Raiatea, but we are unsure about the outrigger since my husband has had knee replacement surgeries. Has anyone done Bruno's tour and do you know if it is accessible for those who have some mobility problems? Getting out won't be a problem but getting back into the outrigger sounds challenging. Thanks for any information1

I can't imagine climbing back in to an Outrigger, and I have both knees! We have had some challenges climbing back onto dive boats that have little ladders hanging by the side of the boat. The only somewhat comfortable way is with a real ladder on the back of the boat--not likely for an outrigger. Good Luck!

The outrigger (large) that we took for a ray & shark feeding tour in Bora Bora had a regular ladder on it to climb back in. I didn't notice anyone having a problem with it, but I doubt any had had knee replacement surgery. Can he climb a pool ladder very easily? Keep in mind there will likely (or possibly) be lots of waves that make climbing a boat ladder much more difficult than a pool ladder.
