Hi All,

Finally got my pics done and uploaded (better late than never). I wanted to do something different so I tried out some new software and made a show with some music. Hope you enjoy it and if nothing else, at least you get to listen to a few Polynesian songs during your day.

Here is the link:

IB, great show. We have been to all the same places except the Sheraton on Moorea. Brought back very good memories.

Wow, islandboyatheart! That was so incredibly beautiful! Do you think you could come with us on our next trip to take the photos (they're all so well-done)!?

Any way to view these and not use the flash player?

Thanks guys. No, unfortunately not Justine - the program needs a plug-in to run the show if you don't have the stand alone software. I checked out the plug-in on 3 different computers before I posted the link and it came up clean with anti-virus and anti-spyware programs so it's safe and only takes about 10 seconds to install.

LOL, islandboyatheart. I wish!

The first time we went to FP, we won the trip (I never mentioned that here because someone seemed very anti-trip-winners at the time). We extended the prize by 5 nights and one island and the trip cost us $5500 on top of the $11500 worth that we won! We stayed in wonderful resorts and got to experience "the rich life".

This trip we're trying to keep the costs below $10,000 total (these are Canadian dollars) for almost 10 extra nights compared to last time). It's been a challenge, but I've enjoyed researching it and figuring out how to cut costs without compromising the things we love to do and see. If we go again (who am I kidding...we thought we'd only go once and here we are 4 years later already going again), I think I'd keep my trip to one island (or one plus Moorea where I could just do the ferry back & forth) to cut down on airfare. It's $3400 to get us from Toronto to Tahiti (which is actually a great deal)plus it's over $1400 to get around the islands (I guess that's not totally unreasonable since we're hitting 3 islands, but it does add up). So half of our budget gets used up in flying.

Yeh - the trip can get real expensive depending on how you like to travel. We have been very fortunate in that we have been able to use our frequent flier miles for some of the flights and Starwood points to stay for free at all the Sheratons and Le Meridiens. We also took advantage of the stay 3 pay 2 that the Te Tiare offers during the off season. For our next trip back, we are looking at a number of smaller pensions since we plan to see some other islands off the beaten track.

I don't have admin rights to this stupid work laptop and the flash plug in is out of date.... I'm sure you musical selection is lovely but I look at them faster- the flash part is a waste.
