LOL Suki - okay well here's some news - the Tahiti magic worked and we are indeed expecting. :)
I was thinking maybe Tiare for a middle name, if it's a girl, but my sister pointed out the kid might be embarassed to be named after somewhere her parents "did it"!

Oh I don't know that she'd be embarrassed....I think it'd be quite an story for her to tell...obviously when she's older....that she was conceived in French Polynesia.
And Tiare is a lovely name.
oops...BTW...CONGRATS!!!!

I think the story could be that she was found under a Tiare bush in FP. Better than found in a cabbage patch. No offense to cabbage.

Great report! Totally agree about Bora Bora, it is beautiful, but you nailed it with the observation about the less friendly interactions. It is not one of the islands we plan to visit again.
I second Joe's recommendation of Les Tips... THAT is where we plan to return sometime. Not fancy, but clean rooms, good restaurants, and location.
Te Tiare is my favorite resort ever. It is nice to hear a recent report about it.
After 4 trips to FP pre-kids, our boys both have Tahitian names, but sadly have made it really hard for us to get back down there again! We will someday!!!
