We just booked our cruise! Can't wait! This will be our first trip to these islands. I need to start planning our side trips - any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

TahitiTravel offers excellent deals for cruising the magnificent lagoons of French Polynesia.
We highly recommend the Bora Bora Cruises for luxurious intimacy (actually a v.good value compared to the cost of a stay at a 5 star resort) or the Regent Seven Seas Cruises Paul Gaugin for a deluxe but more traditional cruise experience.
Check our Cruises page for more information

Janet. Go to search and type in Paul Gauguin and see what comes up for you talking about this cruise.

Janet, there's lots of info about the Paul Gauguin, here and over at cruisecritic.com as well. I've done the 7-day Societies trip 4 times, so if you have questions about excursions on Bora Bora, Moorea, Raiatea, fire away!

we aare going in june and doing marc's motu (huahinenautique@mail.pf--marc's picnic in water, snorkel, etc.) and on raiatea we are doing bruno's all day excursion(drift snorkel, etc.) (his e-mail is tahaa.net)going to do the helmet dive on moorea (aquablue); and probably the coral gardens for snorkeling by the soitel motu on bb(haven't figured how I 'm doing that one yet) considering patrick's on tahiti for a 4X4--we'll see. hope this helps--let us know how your plans proceed; so far I have booked everything independently, as recommended for the most par ton this board; there is also a ton of info on cruisecritic, but you have to scroll down to ports of call, and then to pacific islands--good luck- franco

Woke up to about 3 inches of snow! Now I really can't wait for Feb. to get here!! Snow only looks nice on trees and rooftops - not on the roads. Can you tell I'm not a fan of the "white stuff". Janet

The PG trip that you are on will be the first one after the ship has been cleaned up and upgraded. A few new cosmetic changes but the same great cruise. The boat is currently on its way from Brisbane Australia
