TahitiTravel offers excellent deals for cruising the magnificent lagoons of French Polynesia.
We highly recommend the Bora Bora Cruises for luxurious intimacy (actually a v.good value compared to the cost of a stay at a 5 star resort) or the Regent Seven Seas Cruises Paul Gaugin for a deluxe but more traditional cruise experience.
Check our Cruises page for more information

Indeed, there is a wealth of info regarding lovely Huahine and Te Tiare on this board. holte and I have fond regards about the island and her people. You have made a terrific choice in Huahine as your island stay......and the Te Tiare. It is my husband's and my favorite place for reasons that I have exbounded on over the last 4 years. Chez Guynette and Pensione Mauurii are wonderful places to eat (Chez Guynette for the people watching and casual eating with the COLDEST Hinanos on the island. Marty and Moe and their staff are so helpful and kind. We're looking forward to seeing Marty's new clothing/bedspread designs when we visit in Sept. Mauurii is our spot for that lunch and swim while circling the island). Moorea is lovely and welcoming, a bit easier and less expensive to get to, and offers more accommodation options. Hamara is a wonderful resource for Moorea...so friendly and welcoming. Someday, we hope we can meet him and Mary..... I regard him as a legend (well, I do!!)as well as Jan Prince. Look at BarbiJKM's postings as she has wisely guided us all and has a love for Moorea that comes through in her postings. You are going to have a wonderful time! Please let us know of your experiences. (PS/I have Radio Maohi streaming at the moment.......WOW!).

Since we retired we've been real travelers, and sometimes trips kinda run together. We are on the Sept. 2 sailing of the Aranui - the Senior discount voyage - this year. We already feel like Huahine will be an instant home-away-from-home for us, thanks to all you great folks who share so much on this board. Keep all the good ideas and info coming, while we're counting down the days till FP becomes a part of our present, instead of a part of our future.

Manny, I look forward to your post trip report/posts on your Aranui cruise. We "qualify" for the senior discount trip but were unable to book that one. Think they filled up quickly.

Nancie, We got the last stateroom, and we booked virtual moments after they announced the Senior sailing date. The trip is getting more popular as years tick by, according to the lady in their home office in the Bay Area. I think there is even an Aranui IV soon to hit the water. Thanks again to all who have contributed.

Hi Maureen2006. You will be on the same Aranui trip as Manny. Will be anxious to hear all about it when you return. Once I get the XFP's figured out I'll be in good shape. Thanks for the contact e-mail. Ours is wilmer3@aol.com. Don't know what help I'd be but you're more than welcome to contact me.
