Anyone out there going on the Tahitian Princess 6/29/07? It's time to start reserving excursions if you plan on doing your own. We just booked Marc's in Huihine and Bruno's in Raiatea and have received our confirmations.

TahitiTravel offers excellent deals for cruising the magnificent lagoons of French Polynesia.
We highly recommend the Bora Bora Cruises for luxurious intimacy (actually a v.good value compared to the cost of a stay at a 5 star resort) or the Regent Seven Seas Cruises Paul Gaugin for a deluxe but more traditional cruise experience.
Check our Cruises page for more information

We went with Bruno in November, it was the best excursion on the whole cruise. Have you gone to Cruisecritic.com ? There will likely be people there on your cruise date. These 2 sites will provide you with a wealth of information.

Hi Dan: Yes, Cruise Critic has become my best friend. I've gotten a wealth of information from them!! Our roll-call hasn't taken off too much (4 of us), so I thought I might find some fellow cruisers on other sites. It's good to hear that you liked Bruno's so much. Did you do Marc's or Patrick's?

No, sorry. We did not do Marc's or Patrick's although there are very good reports about both.
On Moorea we did the Princes Snorkel & BBQ. I can highly reccommend that one!

Hi we did all of the tours that you mentioned on our August 2oo6 TP cruise. Are you a snorkeler? The best coral reff snorkel was Bruno's. Marc's was fantastic motu picnic. Patrick was a kick on Tahiti lots of Fauna information but was our least favorite tour. We did all independant tours, no ship tours. It will be an unforgetable cruise, you'll love it.

Hello.....I just found this forum and thought perhaps someone could offer us some valuable advise.
We are scheduled for the Tahitian Princess 4/16/07 and are booked on diving excursions in Riatea and Bora Bora.
We recieved our OPEN Water Cert. in August 2006 and our Advanced Open Water in November 2006 and have been on two dive trips to Costa Rica.
I was wondering if anyone has had experiences good or bad regarding dive excursions from the TP. Does anyone know what dive operators TP is using right now? We would like to research these operators in advance if at all possible. Also, we are trying to decide whether we ought to bring our own wetsuits, etc. Any advice?
Any response either negative or positive would be helpful and appreciated.
Thank you in advance of any help...

We have a group of 6 people that are also scheduled to go on the same date as you (4/16). 3 of the cruisers are trying to get certified right now to dive on the islands.

For jwhite1279 & Dsmith - recommend you visit www.cruisecritic.com. On the boards you will find roll calls for Princess cruises and one devoted to the Tahitian Princess. There is a thread being shared by 7 couples sailing on the 04/16 cruise and we would love to have you share info with us. One of the cruisecritic members (gvre) has done a lot of diving on previous cruises.
