We are wanting to check out the dolphin quest at the Moorea Villa either pre cruise or during our stop there. Do we need to take a cab from either the ferry dock or from where the cruise ships dock?

Are you thinking of the Beachcomber? That's the hotel where the dolphin quest is housed. Anyway, yes you will need a taxi or rent a car to get to the Beachcomber from the tender dock in Moorea.

Thank you on this one also SusanS. Do the cruise ships dock at the same place as the ferry? Also, does the ferry take cars, and if so, do you have any idea of the cost of taking a car. Thanks for your help

Its not the same place where the cruise ship drop off passengers and where the ferry docks. I am not sure about your ? regarding a car ferry. If you are thinking of renting a car in Papeete and taking a ferry to Moorea and driving you can not. Most of the rental companies are very strict about it. If you are on the cruise where they drop you off there are always a few taxis ready to take you around.
