On Bora Bora, at what time in the day do the Shark/Ray feedings take place, do they go a few times a day from different hotels.
We will be staying at the Pearl. Also,
about how long is the total time from departing the hotel to returning to it.

Would appreciate any info on this topic. Tks.

Janet,

I stayed at the Sofitel Marara and the excursion started from my hotel. It was a half-day tour that began at 9 AM. I think I was back to the hotel by 1:30 in time for a hearty lunch.

I am not aware that they offer more than one trip per day, but that may well depend on your hotel and/or the excusion group who host these. As my feeding tour also included a boat tour around BB, I can't imagine they would have another excursion later in the day.

Most hotels have an excursion desk with a photo-album type of book with the various activities available, the schedules, and the prices. There is ususally someone there to answer questions and to set up arrangements once you decide on what to do.

You will LOVE it and don't be afraid of the sharks or sting rays. They are such beautiful animals and far more interested in the Guides' handouts of food than you! Enjoy it and be sure to take several underwater cameras (disposable work great!)

Bora Bora Brandon,

Thanks for the info, also for the reassurance, however, I'm not afraid at all, I can't wait to go on this excursion!!!

Yes, I've heard they are more into the food than people, which should be expected as this is now part of their habitat.
