Does anyone have current contact info for Maco, ie his email, or perhaps a website? Also, does anyone know what days he offers tours, and if all his tours are the same?
We'll be there in a week!

Does anyone have any new info for Maco? We were there the week before last and no one ever answered the phone (and the hotel concierge had the same phone number for him that we had gotten from the Jan Prince book). We tried for several days but were unsuccessful in reaching him so we used another shark/ray company (Albert tours) and they were wonderful.

Thanks, Charlie, for your vote of confidence! I don't know what he had for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. He may be away from Moorea right now. I don't know!! What I can do is email him and ask him if it's ok to post his email addy here.

I have emailed Maco but he hasn't responded. So he may be away from Moorea at the moment, or he may not be online or he may not want his email posted here, I don't know. Best I can recommend is calling him when you get to Moorea and set up your excursion then. Should not be a problem. Ask at your hotel.
