Wow! This looks so cool! I've never heard of it before. Where in Moorea can you sign up for it?

It is out of the Beachcomber - we had watched a group while on the Motu Pic-nic. As soon as we arrived back at the Beachcomber we checked it out and made our reservations.

Do you have to go to the Beachcomber to book a Motu Pinic too? Or do other places do it? We are staying at the PB Resort on Moorea.

Other places book them as well...check out Albert Tours. They have great prices and we actually booked our 4X4 tour while at the Pic-nic.

You can set up a moto picnic with any number of operators. They all run the same tour of shark feeding, ray feeding then picnic on the moto. Each of them have a few hundred feet of beachfront on the moto for the picnic.

Do the one in Bora Bora...because they take you to a more secluded area. No other boats or excursions. I saw the one in Moorea and they were right next to the people that were snorkeling...I didn't quite understand the difference. Also, if you tend to be afraid of small spaces...I don't know if I'd recommend this. I panicked slightly and had to come up. Make sure to breath slowly and walk carefully...lots of coral. I personally had a hard time walking...couldn't quite get the hang of it. But it's still a cool experience. The fish eat bread right out of your hand.

Heya ! We (I'm actually the starter of this topic using another log-in name) just returned from our fantastic journey in the Pacific and can't wait to return. We did the aquawalk finally in Moorea and had so much fun with it. See pictures about it at our site: http://www.globetrotters.be thank you.

I'm so happy that you went - it is still one of my best memories of FP

How much does the Aquawalk out of the Beachcomber cost per person? From the time you arrive for the aquawalk until the time you leave, how long does the whole activity take? My husband really wants to do it, but I think it will be similar to snorkeling...feedback please.

No where near the same experience as snorkeling. From pick up to drop off I believe it's a 2 hour trip. I know that we did 2 excusions that day and it was very close to the end of our trip.
If he wants to do it you should do it. Don't come home with a "I wish we had....."
Go and have fun no matter the cost. It's FP!!!
