Vricine, I think you have offered replies to some of the other questions I have posted. Just wanted to say thank you! Yes, the photos are great. I found them through Princess Di when she told me about Belgian Eddy's site. You 2 are helping lots of us! Thanks again!

They don't call him marc the shark for nothing..
he has a french guide who speaks little english
For sure Moorea has the best motu picnic.
As for shark feeding it is getting out of hand
I have seen tourist bitten and 3 guides..

Really Local girl you have seen tourists bit on shark feedings? Also, Marc has three guides and they all speak great English, only one guy does not speak too much English but he is used for the French Tours. Some of your views are very critical of us tourist coming to Tahiti. I know Marc personally he is a great guy and if he has done you wrong this is not the forum for it.

That picnic on Globetrotters (Marc's) looks so beautiful. But it seems to be quite a large group. Does anyone do smaller tour groups on Huahine? (Not a $500 private picnic.) Or do all the tour groups gather together for lunch?

Most of the tours has about 8 to 15 people on them. Its not too bad. You also have Poetaina Cruises on Huahine that does a great job as well. It all depends if the cruise ships are in port they will be much more crowded.

Pacific andy,
I lived for 3 years oh Huahine I have heard tourist complaining about the lack of english spoken by marc's guides....Also ALL the locals call him marc the shark .

2 months ago on moorea I was sitting on the beach
where the shark feeding boats do their thing just off shore...I saw how crowded the 2 boats were and said to my friend "too many people in the water at one time; The sharks will go in to a feeding fenzie" I am a ssi and maui certified diver.
The next day the big story on the coconut telegraph was about the tourist who was bitten on this very excursion and had to get 17 stiches!
This subject is written about in the local papers all the time. It is a VERY contraversial subject with the locals.

Great, I have know Marc for 5 years and been on his tour about 20 times, never had a problem. Paco one of his guides speaks perfect English. Have you been on his tours? I know why they call him Marc the shark. You also made a comment about Dr Poole, I have never and I mean never heard that he does not show up for pre booked tours. On your profile you mention your a guide in Moorea, maybe these people are your competition? What do you do?
