Pre-Booking Activities?

We are going to Moorea, Tahaa, and Bora Bora in September for our honeymoon. While there, there are certain activities we want to do. Such as a spa treatment at the Beachcomber in Moorea (where we are staying), Scuba on Bora Bora and Tahaa, Sailing on Bora Bora and Tahaa. Should we prebook these?
The spa treatment we wish to do the very first night we arrive in FP. Should we book this now? And if so, how? Through the Beachcomber? If so, how do I contact them from the U.S.?
Thanks

Try emailing the Beachcomber at moorea@interconti.com. When we went to FP last year we emailed each of the hotels where we were staying for information about various things and got quick responses from all of them.

I wouldn't prebook any excursions except for maybe the spa treatment. You just don't know how you will feel or how the weather will be until you are actually there. My husband and I even booked some excursions until the morning we wanted to go and it was fine. You can email the Beachcomber, they usually email back in a couple of days.

I've done it both ways and as jeanyfer mentioned, I also have never had a problem booking excursions on the fly.
Cool itinerary Rook, we're hitting the exact same Islands in August.
We also spent our honeymoon in F.P., man are you guys in for a trip of a lifetime, have a great time and please post a review when you get back.

First time going to the FP so I booked my tours throught my travel agent.....not sure of the price but will let you know all about them. Most likely when I go back ( yeah I hope) I will arrange things when I am there.

The spas are the only thing I would book in advance. Excursions are usually available on the day of, so there's no need to pre-book and lock yourself into a time and date that might not work out so well once you are there.

Thanks all for the great advice. My fiance always make fun of me for spending time on these boards but between my honeymoon, and maintaining a reef tank, I have found the most priceless information on these boards.
I decided to pre-book the dolphin watch tour with Dr. Poole, and I emailed the Beachcomber to try and pre-book the spa, but my travel agent said they may not do that until we arrive at the resort. I also emailed the scuba shops and they said not to worry about pre-booking.

TM, where are you staying? We are doing three nights in a garden at the Moorea Beachcomber, two nights in a beach at Vahine, two nights in an OTW at Vahine and three nights in a garden at the BBLR.

Pre-booking the Dr. Poole excursion is a great idea since it only runs a couple of times a week.

And, during whale season, Dr. Poole is often sold out a few days prior.
