Hi everyone,

Here is a copy of the Tahiti Information List that several people have been asking for.

Feel free to copy and distribute the list to family, friends, and neighbors.

The only thing I would ask in return is that you consider taking the time to assist me in keeping the list current.

So, after you visit the Islands any additional information you could provide would be appreciated (e.g. corrections, updates and new additions under any of the categories or Islands).

I would also like to begin to add new Islands to the list that I currently don’t have any information on. My intention is to begin to collect information for as many of the additional Islands as possible.

If you would simply list any Restaurants, Shops, Stores, Operators, etc. that you find of value on this thread I will transfer the new information to the list and delete the posts to keep the thread clean and easy to read.

Please list the name of the Island, type of listing, and as much relevant information as possible (e.g. name of business, phone, address, general location, goods, services, food type, cost, etc).

Also, please keep in mind this thread is for the sole purpose of providing access to the list and posting additional information that can be added. As such, any general discussion related posts will be deleted.

Thanks in advance for your help and support and I hope the list is of value to you.

And as Adam Troy would say: “Enjoy your Adventures in Paradise” \:\)

Private Picnic - Etienne’s Tour, Patrick’s, or Keishi Tour will arrange these outings. I highly recommend Keishi (ask for Pierrot, Phone 79 26 56). He sets up a table in the lagoon water next to a private Motu. Lunch features Lobster, Crab, Steak, Chicken, Fruit and Champagne. Snorkeling around the Island, Shark and Ray Feeding, Manta Ray viewing and whatever else your heart desires. These run around $500.00 for two, plus $100.00 for each additional person. The operator will usually pick you up at your hotel around 9:30am and drop you off at 3:00pm.
Patrick’s tour is also very nice. He serves a traditional Tahitian feast of foods cooked in an ahima'a (underground oven). Meals consist of roast pig, breadfruit, plantains, taro leaves, and the ever present poisson cru. Patrick is from Bora Bora and is a gracious host.
