I am considering finishing my open water certification when I get to Bora Bora. How much should I expect something like this to cost? Also, What is the range of prices if I have my certification complete. Any help would be great.

I would suggest finishing your certification before going to FP, that way you can focus on enjoying your dives when you're there. Otherwise, you'll spend a few dives doing your skills for your certification, as opposed to actually enjoying the dive. We did our open water dives for certification about 1-2 weeks before we left for FP. When we did our dives in BB is was amazing! If I remember correctly, it costs us about $80-$90 per person for two dives.

To Gritz,
I've been to FP previously on Cuises which charged $79. to $89. per one tank dive with all gear furnished. What is the average cost per dive per person with and without gear, excepting usual snorkle, mask and fins?
Thanks, Don B.
