If you scube dive, are the fish feeding/shark & ray feeding/motu picnics redundant?

Interested in your opinions!
I would think that if you dive, you'll probably see fish, rays and sharks anyway. We only have 2 1/2 days on BB, and I am trying to reduce the # of excursions.

I think it's an experience that varies from person to person. Some may find it redundant others not. While I definitely enjoy seeing marine life while scuba diving and find it less concocted and more natural than the feedings, I still enjoyed the shark/ray feeding. If you are an underwater photographer, it will also give you a chance to photograph these animals in shallow water, which is much easier than at depth. Of course, when I did it it was just me and my wife. I don't know how I would feel had it been a large group of tourists splashing about.

You probably won't see stingrays diving, and you won't get to pet them. You'll do that on the ray picnics. Note that some BB trips visit stingrays and others visit manta rays. You won't be petting the mantas.
On scuba trips, you won't be petting anything, unless a sociable turtle swims by.

We figured it would be redundant and didn't do the tour.. after seeing some of the photos people shot on the stingray shark feeding tour I kind of wished we would have done it. Yeah we saw hundreds of Black Tips and Lemons on dives, but we only saw two sting rays and didn't get anywhere near them.. Plus, as was mentioned you'll be able to shoot MUCH better photos in shallow water as opposed to deep water unless you have a kicka$$ rig or know what you're doing in Photoshop..
We had 6 days though - 2 days may be pushing it if you're already diving cuz you might have to skip a dive to do it. Then again we traditionally like to stay away from groups - our favorite dives were just us and the dive master.. so that might factor into it as well.. If and when we go back we'll probably do it, but we'll also be there for at least two weeks.. Good luck..
