I just returned from the islands and all my film, flashcards and disposable underwater cameras went through xray and the pictures all came out beautifully.

What about putting your exposed films in your pocket and walk them through the metal detector--sure they won't set it off? We will be taking both a digital camera and a regular one and maybe a disposable underwater one. Last time I used a disposable, I took the film cartridge out of the camera and threw the body away to save space.
