The show we went to was in the pool area, on the big deck in the center of the resort. It overlooked the beach and the beach bungalows. It was really fun. They did fire dancing and tahitian dancing with men and women. There were a few young girls that were also really good. Then they asked people to come up from the audience to learn. This is done EVERYWHERE and is cheesy at first but it is really funny when your mate gets up there. The food was served buffet style and then they had a chef cooking the fish to your liking. They also had tons of sashimi, shrimp, etc. It was pricey, about $80 per person I think, which did not include drinks. But it was well worth it. They also had a dessert buffet included.

They did not have a show when we were there on the beach, but right next to it.

JennyO In your reply about the feast you forgot to answer my question about the beach bungalow. I am going to request #310 and #311. I was just wondering if these were the 2 best beach bungalows as far as location. I think I would rather be right on the ocean instead of the manmade lagoon but don't want to sacrifice privacy or beauty of the area just for the ocean. I saw an upclose picture of a beach bungalow on another web site. It looked like it was right on the ocean but also had trees in the front of the bungalow which gave a lot of shade. In looking at the surroundings I could not tell where it was located. Just wondering which bungalows would be your first choice. I think we have a very good chance of getting our request because I know it is really quiet over there right now. I will wait for your response. We leave in 3 weeks!

Hi guys, (beachcomber moorea)

I am looking at the map and saw that 310, 311, 314, 315, 316 and 317 are right on the beach. Has anyone stayed at any one of these? any recommendations as far as being "right on the beach" and having an unobstructed view?

thanks!
Dale

Shari and Honeymoondale,
If you're considering a beachbungalow at the beachcomber, by far the best one is room #314. My wife and I stayed there this past new year's on our honeymoon. If you like, I could forward some pictures of the room and its great views.

Dale,
Glad you liked the pictures. The first 15 or so pixs were taken in Tahiti. On New Years, we took the ferry to Moorea. The last set of waterfall pixs you see are taken in Moorea on the 4X4 Safari (Albert's). It really is only one big waterfall with the run-off forming the other smaller ones.
The stingrays pics are taken on the the motu picnic right after feeding the sharks and rays.

Hope you have a great time. Just like everyone else on this board, i'm here to try to answer any question you may have.
