Where is a place I can purchase this mosquito repellant cream that has been talked about often? "Avon-skin-so-soft"
Thanks Aren

Through Avon. You can probably do a internet search for a distributor near you.

Be aware, though, Skin So Soft is not nearly as effective as products that contain DEET (in fact, I've been covered in mosquitos using it!). I'm in a West Nile-infected area in Canada & the medical community here recommends DEET. 30% levels will protect you for 5 hours. If you only need a couple of hours' coverage, go for 5%.

different people react differently to various moustique products. Some swear by Avon Skinsosoft, others find no protection whatsoever from it. I think it has in part to do with your own body chemistry.
I personally get a little freaked out by high DEET products. A few years ago I was eating at a house in FP and we were eating certain things with our hands. I had forgotten that I had slathered on the DEET with my hands and was eating my food with that hand. Needless to say, I threw it away and used some 'monoi à la citronelle' which was more natural. However, I usually travel with a few different types of anti moustique products. Some work, some dont'.
