We will be at the KOV from 11/17 for 6 nights then at Manihi Pearl from 11/23 for 6 nights. Anyone going at this time?

I will be in Moorea and Bora Bora in November. But I am hoping to make a return trip to KOV and Manihi in the near future. Look forward to hearing about your experiences!

We will be in Rangi on Nov 14 to Nov 18 but staying at Pension Les Fare Tiki Hoa on a remote motu between KOS and the Blue Lagoon. I don't know if we will be in Avatoru at all except to transit through the airport. Our host said that we might be able to visit the village as an excursion on his daily return to that side of the atoll, but we're not sure if we want to revisit civilization all too quickly. \:\)

rodjune, sounds like you'll be in the vicinity. If you get by from the 17th until the 23rd, ask for DenverJoe. We'll buy you and yours drink with an umbrella in it. That being said, I wouldn't be in a hurry to get civilized too soon either.
Have a great time.

rdojune - you help me find some of the neatest looking pensions. Thanks for mentioning Pension Les Fare Tiki Hoa in post above. I've book marked it for future use.

DenverJoe, maybe we will try to visit the village on one of our excursion days or last day before we catch our plane back to PPT on that Friday afternoon, as we would love to take you up on the offer for a cocktail.

Marshamouse, you've been very helpful to me regarding this Tuamotu trip. Lord knows how many countless hours I've put in doing research and asking questions of you and others to get our plans finalized for this trip, and it's still not done yet (exact Fakarava pensions still undecided). We are looking forward to staying four nights during the full moon at Les Fare Tiki Hoa and will let all of you know how this new pension ranks.

Denver Joe, we had a change in plans and are now staying at Pension Tuanake, which is in Avatoru. We are very sad that we are unable to stay at the remote Les Fare Tiki Hoa and expressed our sincere regrets to the proprietor Michel. Some personal issues arose that necessitated that we be a little closer to "civilization." Who knows? If all works out, you might see us on the 17th or 18th, subject to our ability to get a transport vehicle.

rodjune, the umbrella drink offer still stands. We hooked up with a couple from this board a few years ago in BB. Would love to do it again. We'll be in a beach bung numbered in the 50's.
36 days to go. YAHOO ! ! \:D

DenverJoe, we leave tomorrow for FP. Again, we will rent a vehicle for one day on Rangi to do some shopping up and down the atoll, and if it's on the 17th, you might see us at your doorstep and then onto the bar!
