Glad to hear you had a nice anniversary and that you got your rashguard shirts.
The only thing we have already booked is our scuba certification dives. We aren’t going to book anything else. We’ll see how much we want to do when we get there. I am working on a cheat sheet of things to do and places to eat as well.
We booked a garden bungalow at ICB in Moorea, but I emailed them last week and gave them my ambassador number and I asked very nicely if it would be possible to get upgraded to a beach bungalow. I got a confirmation email within a few days that said we had been upgraded to a beach bungalow. I did the same for ICB Bora Bora and they upgraded us from a lagoon OWB to a horizon OWB. I would suggest emailing them if you do want the upgrade. I was very excited to get a confirmation email on the upgrades. The ambassador membership is such a good deal. We are using our free night in the OWB in Bora Bora. With the free nights and the upgrades, we are saving quite a bit of money.
We will be getting to Moorea on the 22th and leaving on the 27th. How did you book your inter-island flights? I have been working directly with AT, and I’m still not sure if we have our flights yet. I think I started this process in May. We are trying to book two Bora Bora air passes. I think it was April 15th when I finally just called them and gave them my credit card info because they hadn’t gotten the fax I sent earlier in the month, but my credit card hasn’t been charged yet and they haven’t sent a confirmation on the flights. I sent them another email on April 19th with our hotel info and our international flight info. I also asked them to let me know if there is any additional info they need from me. I haven’t heard back. I guess I will probably email them again tomorrow to make sure everything is good. I was just curious to see how you booked yours and to see if you had any trouble with it.

I am planning on emailing them this week with our Ambassador number. We booked the entire thing as a package just to make things easier for us. Air from LAX, transfers, hotels and interisland air is booked all together. I am not sure if the IC would have our names yet from the tour operator we booked through. Congrats on getting the upgrades! Horizon OWB sounds fabulous. I really wanted to do one at HBB but the cost was too much. Would rather spend that on activities, food and a pearl.
Hopefully you hear from AT soon regarding your flights. I am sure you will have no problems.
Since you love to travel also, what exciting places have you been to? We have done alot of travelling, several trips a year, except for one year that my mother was very ill. Brian is 41 and I am 39 so we have seen lots of places that others have not. We love the Big Island but I think our favorite was the Galapagos Islands. Fiji was beautiful but I have a feeling FP is going to so much better. I have a picture of an uninhabitated island in Fiji that we snorkelled at. Took a boat from our condo and fell in love with the place. The water was crystal clear and about 40 feet deep. Coral heads unlike anything we have ever seen before, and the colors. We stopped in Maui on the way back and what a disappointment that was seeing dead coral.
