BarefootX-my grandson went to Japan this summer on a Sister's Cities exchange program (Ohara) and he just loved Japan. Then the students from Japan came here for a week. It was a great time for all. Look around when you are in FP. There are less expensive places to stay. I can't imagine that the flu won't get you. Our first trip was a "once in a lifetime". But the flu got us and we must go over and over again.

Is there a shot for this FP flu thing I keep reading about... I'm scared, very scared. Our first trip to Hawaii was in 2003 and total once-in-a-lifetime fashion. I've been back every year since, and in 2007 will be working there for a couple months.
So I'll be in Hawaii for just over 2 months then Tahiti for 2 weeks (Tahiti-Moorea-Huahine-Bora Bora). Coming back to the east coast will be eh, interesting after all that. At least it will be May and warm by then. : )
