Need advise desperatly: Doing Marriage/Honeymoon in March/2003, Yah we've procrastinated a little We're getting married on the island of Widigi, and then moving on to Tahiti for 7-10 days. Want to stay in Bora Bora and Moorea. We like upscale accomodations, yet still want the beautiful scenery (sunsets), snorkeling, great decks, privacy, room service, and love to take baths together Could you please provide us with names/details of hotels on each island. Much Appreciated!

the overwater bungalows at the Intercontinental in Tahiti had nice large oval tubs with shower that would accomodate two easily. I would expect the same resort in BB or Moorea would be similar.

Lovely wife should have spelled 'Wadigi"; island off Fiji. Prefer 5 star when travelling (happens so rarely, but its worth it). Would like room service with decent food, a sunny deck with a view, Great snorkeling, virtually bug free, clean with relatively new furnishings. We were thinking of three nights on Moorea and three on Bora Bora. Would like to leave the best for last. Thank you for responding.

Look into the Sheraton on Moorea in a Horizon Overwater Bungalow with a sunset view. These bungalows also give you a nice view of the mountainous terrain of Moorea combined with views of the beach & bay area and beautiful sunsets. The ones with sunrise views pretty much just look out at the open waters. Best ones are further out #107, 109. Nice rooms, with all the ammenities and very large deck areas. Also lovely lagoon area for snorkeling. Food OK at the resort but would recommend trying the local restaraunts off site, for dinners. Had some good meals at Te Hono Iti. If you decide to just stay in Fiji, I would also recommend the Yasawa Resort. Have a wonderful trip wherever you decide to go.

There are not many REAL 5 stars in FP...The Sheraton Moorea is not, though it is a nice hotel, but it is still a SHERATON in a beautiful setting. Try on BB the NUI...5 star all the way! The Motu on BB isnt quite 5 star, but maybe 4.5. Other than that you probably will find a lot of nice 4 star places...which aint bad anyway.

Moorea Beachcomber Intercontinental was very nice! OWB #514, beautiful lagoon, great for snorkling and awesome sealife, private deck, steps right into the lagoon, as do most OWB, they will bring you breakfast to your room by outrigger canoe, very romantic and nice! For dinner I would recommend eating out if you want really nice and romantic, as I believe most on this site would reccomend no matter what hotel or resort you stay at! We also stocked up on foods at the local markets and such and made our own romantic meals on our deck, martini's and all! Great cheeses, breads, pastries, and fruit! Very romantic! Also, eating out all the time can get very pricey! #514 gives you a beautiful sunrise view, which we thought was better since we were'nt usually there for the sunset! Good luck and bon voyage!
