I just received an email from LM BB saying the pool is still under construction with estimated completion date being end of July.

Also, when we were staying at Thalasso in 2007, we were on the end bungalow (#130) and every time the Le Meridien cataramran went past, it was hysterical! Yee-Haa was the common call from the Tahitian skipper, followed by uncontrollable laughter. The air was quiet, the wind was mild - the only sound we could hear was the "Yee-Haa", followed by the laughter. OOHH - I can't wait to get back to THAT lagoon. The only downside, was that we could see Le Meridien but weren't staying there. GO DECEMBER!!!!!!

If the pool isn't done for some reason, the turtle lagoon is like a giant seven foot deep pool, just no chlorine.

Thanks P - we have requested our Premium O/W bungalows (being the furtherest ones out) so I'm guessing most of our swimming will be done in the lagoon (and I am sure Gary will be jumping off the balcony again too!!)

Oh, just warn him to look right and left before jumping in, it is a "heavy" boat traffic lane now... lol
To get you in the mood:.......... (that's us passing by while fishing our dinner)

You're killing me P! Counting down the days, now. That's not a bad photo with Taha'a? in the background. How many people can take a photo while picking up dinner and have an affect on others like you have done? What did you catch for dinner? Can't wait to get back there. Thanks for the tip - don't want to jump into someone's boat, unless it's yours and we are invited for dinner. Thanks P. Gary.
