Garden Bungalow
Premium Garden Bungalow, Beach Bungalow, Overwater Bungalow or the Deep Overwater Bungalow

which one is the best for the price? I am wondering if the deep OWB is really worth the extra money?

I know it is a difficult decision if you have never been there. That was the hardest thing for me to decide the first time we went. We decided to split our time. We initially decided to do 5 days garden and 5 days shallow OW bungalow. After we got there we changed our minds to DOW bungalow, and were lucky enough to be able to upgrade because it was Feb. (the shallow are very shallow) We also ended up doing only 3 nites in garden and stayed with that because that was the time we were exploring the island, etc and didn't spend that much time in the bungalow. To us there was not much point in spending the extra and be gone most of the day. This time we are doing all of our time in Huahine in DOW. The garden bungalows are very nice, except for the jacuzzi of the OW they are exactly the same.
Hope this helps.

The shallow OW are not worth the price. Do a deep OW or a beach bungalow which are very nice. The gardens are good too and are spread out so your not too close to your neighbor. As stated above all the rooms are the same size and design so we are talking about location.

Any suggestions as to which room numbers are the best for the O/W bungalows at the Te Tiare?

41 is my pick, but some would disagree because of the barking dog and chickens nearby. I like it because there is only 1 bungalow near. It feels more private to us.

The deep OWs are all very good - we requested #41 as was suggested on this board. (As mentioned on here already, the regular OWs are only half over the water, so you are better off with a beach bungalow). It it is the furthest out from the resort, and so considered the best. As you go down in number, you face more toward the resort. However, the deck of #41 gets sun in the morning, and not in the afternoon. We would have prefered the decks that were the opposite, since we tended to be back to in our rooms in the afternoon. The roosters are equal opportunity wakers in all the bungalows http://www.pearlresorts.com/TeTiare/Main.htm Click on the map to enlarge. #41 is the bottommost OW.

The Te Tiare also has their own Web site, http://www.tetiarebeachresort.com that has some nice images. The Deep OW bungalows are great. Good swimming and snorkeling right off the bungalows. Just returned this last December and don't remember hearing any barking dogs.

We recently returned after having spent the last week of our vacation in #41. The dog or chickens never woke me up once this time. Now there is a privacy screen on the deck of 41. Use your imagination!

41 has the most privacy, but we stayed in 38 and had a great time. The Te Tiare was wonderfulr. Food and service were great.

The food is wonderful at Te Tiare....be sure to try the chicken and spinach in coconut milk! All the OWB's have incredible sunset views and the staff was the best of any of the places we stayed. You'll love it!
