We were in BB #5 and it was fine. Very spacious, large bathroom, walk in closet, a wet bar, and a big wrap around partly covered porch. The A/C left a little to be desired, but overall we loved it. Only time we were in was to sleep.

When I was there this past April, they had changed the curtains and linens in most of the bungalows and were doing more updates including re-roofing and refinishing decks and railings. The rooms are very large and very nice and the rsort is beautiful. I also have photos of the hotel and rooms in my last trip report. If you do a search, you will find the link.

Thanks for the pictures. The bungalows look nice enough. Glad to hear they are in the process of updating them. I'm sure we'll love it.

Jo Ann M. My wife and I just returned from a stay at Te Tiare (last week in March through the first week in April 2008) on Huahine and while there we made friends with a woman in the gift shop by the name of Vaetea. It just so happened that her sister Vaea worked at Te Tiare in the past and now works as the Activity Director at the Pearl Beach Resort on Tikehau. By luck, after our stay on Huahine, we were going to the Pearl Beach on Tikehau so we met Vaea when we checked into the hotel. Very nice person and what a coincidence.

Vaea is the greatest. Knew years ago when she worked at the Te Tiare in Huahine. She moved with her husband to Huku Hiva and I guess she is now on Tikehau. She is a lot of fun
