Just returned from 18 days in Huahine. I have to say that I found it spotless. The natives have flowers all over their yards, people clean up the town everyday, and my husband said that he feels there are more weedeaters than there are people, as they are continually grooming yards and the roadways. There is the occasional empty plastic bottle, but that's about it. I wish even more that I could live under such conditions as those of universal health care that the people have in FP. Wouldn't that just be awful-not worrying that an illness could totally wipe you out?

Come to Canada, holte! We hae universal health care...mind you, it is a bit chillier than French Polnesia (the windchill today is -35C and I'm in the south of Canada, LOL! Our summers get hot here, though (and very humid).
