Can't really speak much about Taha'a but in regards to Rangiroa and Huahine , Rangiroa is a little far away to travel for only 2 nights although we did enjoy our time there. Huahine is very nice and the 2 days would give you some time to explore the island and enjoy the lagoons. Huahine's location would be much more convenient than Rangiroa and because it is in the Society Islands, the plane fare will be less. Huahine was our favorite island on our first trip - similar to Moorea but more undeveloped. The Te Tiare is nice although from all I've heard, not nearly as nice as Le Taha'a (but a lot less expensive).

As far as island order, if you do Taha'a - I would do Moorea first, Bora Bora, then Taha'a. If you do Huahine - I would do Moorea, Huahine, then Bora Bora simply because of locations and flights. If you do Rangiroa, probably could do either Bora Bora or Rangiroa first depending on days and flight time but personally I would do Bora Bora last so you are not flying 1- 1/2 hours back and forth from Rangiroa before your final flight out.

Anybody have contact information for this hotel directly? I exchanged emails with the folks I was referred to by this site, but they won't do pricing for only 2 nights... (we are sandwiched between 5 on Moorea and 5 on Bora Bora that we can't really move)...

wildblueyonder - Just as a reminder, if you do decide to include Le Taha'a over Rangiroa or Huahine (which is what I would do in your case) you can save valuable time by taking a Helicopter from Bora Bora to Le Taha'a (one way trip is less than an hour - hotel lobby to hotel lobby).

nice... i just saw that somewhere...
assume that's because you skip the 30-45 mins from hotel to airport and airport to hotel on both ends?
can the helicopters land at every resort on bb? we're currently booked at the nui, but may soon be switching to the st. regis bb....
