I'm going to Tahaa pearl beach and Sofitel Motu BB and Beachcomber Moorea 3 nights each. Should i just skip Moorea altogether? Those 2 islands sound perfect enough, and i hear Moorea resembles hawaii.....

While your itinerary may be a little busy, and it might be more relaxing to spread your nine days over two islands, I have never heard Moorea described as resembling Hawaii, except in that they are both islands in the Pacific.

Our travel agent did say Moorea resembles Hawaii. More activities there than other places.

Different strokes for different folks, but I wouldn't miss Moorea for anything in the world! I've been to Hawaii a dozen times, all over the islands, but haven't been back there since we discovered Moorea in 1994 and now return 3 times a year! NO COMPARISON, in my book...

I would agree that you will find more activities on Moorea than some of the other islands but I would not compare Moorea with Hawaii. I have been numerous times to most of the Hawaiian islands for short getaways and personally see very little similarities (with the exception of maybe the lushness of Kauai) after all Hawaii is America and the atmosphere of French Polynesia is definitely not. I would say that Moorea is busier than it was on my first visit 7 years ago but it still has that wonderful South Pacific ambience and beautiful terrain. It's definitely worth a visit however if you want to spend more time relaxing then maybe 2 islands is enough. You can always go back again for another visit.
