We are leaving in one week. Our last stop is Tahaa for 3 nights. I would love for everyone that has been to Tahaa to post anything and everything. Thanks for helping me.

Myra,
You will love this place. We went there on our honeymoon last year, and I still think about it all the time. We also went to Moorea Pearl, which I had been to before, and loved that place as well, but Le Taha'a is just in a class by itself. It is beautiful, peaceful, and just plain paradise.
We spent 6 nights there, and could have stayed longer. The spa is amazing, although they increased the price for the honeymoon treatment by quite a bit since last year. All the restaurants were top-notch. We loved the lunch restaurant near the pool. The roof is so beautiful, and its fun to have your feet in the sand. Dinner at the main restaurant and the more expensive one were always very good, and service was amazing. Since we were there so long, we became quite friendly with some of the staff, who knew us by name.
Another great thing about this resort is that since its the only thing on the island, you can leave your money and credit cards in the safe in your room. Everywhere in the resort (including the gift shop, bars, etc.) allow you to just sign for things and it shows up on your bill at the end.
As a gift for our first wedding anniversary, by husband had one of the pictures we took off of our deck of bora bora in the distance blown up, matted and framed. It is beautiful. I have it in my office and its a daily reminder of this amazing resort. I can't wait to get back there (we are going to Greece next year, and then back to Tahiti in 2008).
Let me know if you have any specific questions!
Carrie

Thank you so much for responding. I got chill bumps just reading your description. We only have three nights but we plan on making the best of it. Did you stay in a OWB or beach bungalow? We opted for the beach bungalow. What a great anniversary gift.

Its a great place. The service from what I have heard is not as good as when it first opened. Very relaxing and nice. It is a very very slow pace resort. Also with your activities, find what you want to do and then book them as soon as you can. What happened with me, on my two visits, was they never had enough people together for any of the activities. So we did not do anything both times.

Myra- I thought I had replied to your e-mail the other day, but then I just noticed that it saved as a draft in my inbox!!!! ARG! I promise to reply soon
You are really going to love it there. I can't wait to get back there sometime soon (I thought next year, but now it might not be so soon! Decisions, decisions!)

Myra,
We stayed in a Bora Bora view OWB. My DH loves the OWB, or otherwise I would have wanted to stay in a beach bungalow. I've only seen photos of them, but they are amazing!

At the rates of Tahaa I am not sure we will be doing to many excursions there. Plus we only have the 3 nights. If you had to pick which would you choose?

The most incredible place I have ever stayed! Service is mind blowing and the seafood buffet has to be seen to be believed. Eric the concierge will take care of ANYTHING you want - just ask. We stayed in Sunset OWB 42 - what a view and only swam in the pool once in 5 days, as the lagoon from the OWB is sooo nice. You will definitely be impressed. Have a great trip, Myra.

Thanks Gary. We are thinking our last three days will be pure relaxation and just spoiling ourselves. We are truly looking forward to two weeks of fabulous seafood.
