Are there any stores near the resort. We would like to be able to purchase some snack and drinks to take back to the resort. Are there any restaruants near the resort or are you stuck with eating at the hotel?

The only store is across the motu on the island. Its across the street from where the shuttle drops you off. No restaurants withing walking distance so yes your stranded. Chez Louises is good and she will pick you up.

While on a cruise we did a Coral Garden excursion with Bruno and it was near this resort just this past November. It's one that I would like to come back to and stay for a while. Unbelievablly beautiful location, buildings etc.

But, per your question, it's on a remote moto, not within walking or SWIMMING distance of anything that I could see! It's in the middle of nowhere man! Mind you it was only a half hour boat ride to the town, but not too much there either.

I suggest you bring snaks & drinks with you if it's that important. Probably a bottle of your booze of choice too!

In my opinion, if you are staying at this resort, I think that you have picked on of the better ones in all of FP.

I hope this helps.

Dan
