It's open everyday about 6AM but Sunday is the day when it even spills out into the streets and all the farmers bring their produce to sell.

I assume that the beef is imported from New Zealand - along with the vegetables that cannot be grown in a tropical climate such as onions and potatoes. (Some of the potatoes come from the southern FP islands.)

I went to Tahiti last year and found it to be a wonderful place to go and would like to go there again some time soon. One of the items I liked about Tahiti was the Monoi Oil. I found a link on the internet where you can get it mailed to you. It's http://www.monoioil.com/
I have been getting my oils and soaps there for some time now, so if your like me and can't get to Tahiti often, here is a good trustworthy place to get it. AND its the real stuff unlike SOME of the cruse ships I been on.
