Loc: Los Angeles, CA 		Really I do not know - I would assume its festival seating and you can buy tickets in advance but I really do not know - I just copied the info from the Tahiti Beach Press - Maybe contact the Tahiti Tourist Board in LA and they maybe able to help better.

Loc: Lima, PERU 		My friend is in the Marquesas right now but was able to give us the following info which is pretty much the same info Pacific Andy had: Heiva des Artisans (Arts & Crafts)is scheduled from 7/23 to 8/10, kicking off the Heiva I Tahiti which is scheduled for 7/29 through 8/3.
The Tahiti Games are to take place on 7/24 through 8/3 and the Canoe Races on 7/25 through 8/3. Chirac is scheduled to arrive on 7/27 although his daughter said it might be on 7/23 or 7/24. Chirac is meeting with other Pacific leaders in Tahiti on 7/28.
We hope this helps. We have never been to the Heiva and are certainly looking forward to it. 10 days to go!

For those of you flying in on July 25th, Pres Chirac arrives that day and the Papeete airport will be closed for a while. All flights delayed... Mine was delayed 3 hours for this reason.

Loc: Los Angeles, CA 		Yes the 25th is the day he is to arrive in Tahiti and the airport will be closed for three hours before and after his arrival. They will also do the same for his departure and I have heard it will delay a few of the late night flight out of Tahiti. Not sure what the day was for his departure. I think it was August 3rd but not positive.
