Need a Translator and Notaire

We will be going to Tahiti in February and will need to find someone to help us transfer some Tahitian property.
Do we see a notaire for this?
Does anyone know a good English/French translator?
We are looking forward to visiting again and will be staying at the Beachcomber for a few days. I was glad to read it was a pleasant experience.

For a notaire, I use Cormier and Calmet on Boulevard Pomare in Papeete. They are excellent--and helped me get my condo--in a period when the French Gov was not looking terribly kindly on this. They are quite reasonable (by US standards). My Boston lawyer spoke French--so I had no problems. One of their lawyers, Madame Chenesson, speaks English quite well.

Hamara,
No roosters and no mangy barking dogs! And it's gotten so bad that the 101 freeway a mile away at sunset sounds like the roar of the reef! It's time to go BACK!

I have my tickets for Jan 3, 2004 and will return when they turn on the new street lamps on Moorea because then the island will be to damm modern.

Please tell me the street lights will not be turned on yet in March when I return! Have they finally figured out who is to pay for the electricity? Oh no! No more "moon shadow" when walking down the road? Jacques sent me photos of the new street signs... too modern! Now we will never get LOST on that one road around the island!
