MrRoulette: Le Truck runs on Moorea, but not like they do on Tahiti. On Moorea, they are pretty much exclusively for getting from and to the ferry. Schedules are timed based on the ferry schedule.
mkel: Luggage storage is available at Faaa Airport 24hours per day. It ain't cheap though (5 bags for $35, but I don't know how many days that price will cover).
Taxis on Moorea are rather expensive -- do not know what the exact price would be. I'm paying 3500cfp one way for 2 adults and 1 child for a late night arrival using Moorea Explorer from Moorea airport to the far side of the island. I would think that daytime would be less.
If you only have one bag per person, then Le Truck is the least expensive way to go. Do a search on this board in Moorea Misc forum, and search on "Le Truck" within the body of the messages. You'll get serveral hits with plenty of info.

You can prearrange with Albert's (great people). Say hello to - Tino, Rico, Gino. We had a prearrange transfer to the hotel but for interisland taxi I used them exclusively. They can also book excursions if you want (like circle island tour). Ed Kocher reply is very detailed and it is right on.

If you are planning a holiday or business trip, you can search online . Travelers can save up to $450 in every aspect of their trips. Thank you.
