Here's a short video clip from our dive at Muri Muri with a very large and very friendly Napoleon Wrasse. Sorry I can't create a clickable link. http://www.tripadvisor.com/ProfileGallery-i16803888.html

This was fun to watch and thanks for posting the link. On Fakarava's south pass, we saw about three or four Wrasse in a very shallow bay while snorkeling. They are very friendly and curious fish.

Where abouts is the Muri Muri dive site?
We're not divers, but did enjoy the submarine excursion of the ocean side of the reef. One of these guys followed around for awhile. I had seen pictures of the Napoleon wrases before, but didn't realize how large they really are.

The Muri Muri dive site is near the airport on Bora Bora. On this map, it's just to the right of the airplane. http://www.tahiti-tourisme.com/islands/borabora/mapbig.asp

Muri Muri is by far the best dive site on Bora Bora these days. Back in 2000, I dived a site just off Le Meridien (in the lagoon) which was absolutely amazing (I think it was called Fafapiti). There was schooling Mantas, free swimming Morays, Sharks - it had everything. Unfortunately they don't dive there any more due to the construction of St Regis and Thalasso, so all of the life has moved on. Hopefully after it settles the life might come back.
