I can't speak for the Tahiti experts on this site, but I imagine if anyone is a genealogy expert here, they have no reason to expend time and energy for free. Genealogy takes a lot of time and perhaps money. I suggest going to the genealogy websites on the Net such as ancestry. I have no idea if they are any good or not, and they are not free. Lycos has a site that tracks people that costs money, but since you know they moved to Florida, that would be a start. Lycos seems to have the best information that is accurate. The other ones do not appear to be accurate-the people search sites, anyway. Otherwise, you might have to take a trip to Tahiti yourself or Florida to do your search.

jacky~ Most of the people in here are people who travel to Tahiti for holidays and vacations. They are experts when it comes to traveling in Tahiti, not experts in all things Tahiti, such as family trees. They know about hotels, restaurants, flights, activities, not about genealogy. I think everyone in here has pretty much told you they don't have the info you are looking for. They have given you some ideas on where to look for that info. I don't know what else they can do for you. It is obvious that no one in here has the answers you are looking for. Good luck on your search.

Jacky,
Here is a link to a free webpage that tracks Tahitian royal families: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~royalty/tahiti/persons.html
Also, you might try www.switchboard.com, which is a phone book. Click on "find a person" and limit your search to Florida. Unfortunately, "Grand" is a common surname. "Hinano" and "Taro" are common Tahitian names, but not so common in Florida. Also check the listing with just the first initials of "H" or "T".
Good luck in your search.
