Loc: Los Angeles, CA 		Everything is closed for both New years Eve, New Years Day and the day after. Most hotels make you pay a mandatory food fee for New Years Eve and New Years day since you really have no other choice for food. Almost every hotel has something New Years Eve.

Loc: Washington/Moorea 		Many of the restaurants are open New Years eve with a fixed menu
Reservations are a must with 2 sittings. On Moorea the same.
We were on Moorea New Years eve 1999 and enjoyed a great meal
at Les Tipaniers.

Loc: california 		spent christmas/new years..2005/2006 on Huahini...the 2 main resorts had fixed price packages,that included a meal,transportation,dancing,favors,etc. it was great fun
