We're planning our honeymoon for April 2008, and we'd like to do the 10-day Tahitian Princess cruise. Prior to the cruise, we'll spend 2 nights in Papeete. Between the Intercontinental, Radisson, and Sofitel, which hotel would you recommend for those two nights?

We aren't looking for anything extravagent like an OWB for those two nights b/c they mainly will be spent catching up on sleep and as a launching pad for seeing a bit of Papeete. (We're doing an OWB at the Pearl Resort for 2 days in Moorea after the cruise.) However, we do want someplace halfway decent with a great outdoor bar for sipping cocktails in the afternoon (and a decent size room b/c we're getting a small room on the ship).

Thanks!

Inter Continental would be the better choice. Radisson is nice but too far out - I am not a big fan of the Sheraton although it is a nice hotel

It is our opinion that the Inercontinental is the best property in Tahiti. In as much as you'll be on your honeymoon, you'll enjoy the service, the food, and the atmosphere of the Intercontinental way more.

The Intercontinental is beautiful. You really can't go wrong there.

The Sheraton is not a bad place to stay and closest of the resorts to town.

Just got back from FP and cruise. Stayed at the Radisson. Was a great move. Got the spa/breakfast package. We had a hot tube in are room, got a couples massage and breakfast all included. The breakfast was awesome and it was all you could eat. I have pics of what are room and hotel looked like. I can email them to you. I would have payed more money at the other hotels and would not have got breakfast or a 60min. massage. I booked it right online. I rented a car because we wantde to explore the island. A cab ride is $30. Hope this helps alittle. BTW I was on the pacific priness which is the sister ship of the tahitian. Very nice cruise ship.

We've stayed at the Radisson and the IC. We would take the IC anytime. The IC is just beautiful. It never seems crowded as there are numerous pools - love the fresh water sand bottom pool with the little island. Swim up bar is great too!!

I am really sorry. Did you really get them, Cause I was having trouble with my email. So I tried my other email address and I was having trouble with that. I asume it sent them anyway. If you did not get them I can try another way to send them.
