We are arriving at 6:30 in the evening on a Sunday. We were originally planning on going to town and eating at a roulette. Then I started thinking that they may be closed on a Sunday evening. Has anyone had this experience? If so were the roulettes up and running?

In March of this year, not all, but some very good roulettes were up and running on Sunday and doing a brisk business. Our favorite was the one closest to the ferry that serves Chinese without MSG. He makes the very best Chinese dishes I have ever had. Even the food in Seattle's big International restaurant district doesn't come close to his offerings. If roulettes are not your thing, many 'regular' restaurants are open Sunday, but not on Monday.

In the evening work your way to town. You will find a place to eat. We start along the docks first then work in to town.

Just a quick point...they're called roulottes, not roulettes.

Trois Brasseurs restaurant (and microbrewery) is open on Sunday nights. Right on Pomare Blvd, across the street from the ferry docks. Good food, varied menu, and they make their own beer. You can sit outside and people-watch.

Thank you all for you suggestions on where to eat on a sunday and the quick spelling lesson from old wife.
We leave in about 12 days....time goes by so slowly.
