I do girlfriend trips all the time and have done them to FP.
Club Med is a great place to stay with a nice beach and a variety of guests, old, young, single, married and Honeymooners.
Same goes fo the LeMeridien. I like the beach there even better. Ththere you also have the Turtle Sanctuary, the nice Lagoon in the middle of the resort and the option of an overwater Bungalow. I have stayed there 3x with my daughter and friends.Only once with my husband.
Regards
BO

We're staying at Le Meridien Bora Bora in November in a Beach Bungalow, Have you stayed in those? What are they like inside? Do you have photos? The hotel only has interior photos of OWB. Thanks!

Aloha, just wanted to follow up after our trip. Got an extremely nice ten day package and stayed at the Sofitels in Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora at the end of March '08. The accommodations were lovely and myself and my cousin really enjoyed FP immensely. Bummer the dollar fell to its 20 year low the day before we left. Definitely bring as much alcohol in your luggage as you are allowed, we were so glad we did. I also brought Kona coffee to brew in our room but didn't foresee the European-ness of our destination, ie hot kettle. The Hawaiian coffee served as great gifts to staff and people we met. Great GF trip but all those happy loving couples.... Very beautiful, very hot, and very expensive. Mahalo nui loa for your help!

Since my wife passed (we did Bora every year) I go as a single once or twice a year. Sometimes I feel a little out of place, 3rd person however the workers at the Club Med always make me feel welcome. I've never had to eat alone.

Last few trips took my oldest son (42) and we had a good time too.

People refer to Bora Bora as Borda Borda so your only real choice to survive single is the Club. Any detailed questions feel free to emal me at boraborabob@ hotmail or gmail.

Hope you have a great trip.
