Bora Bora Cruises
TahitiTravel offers excellent deals for cruising the magnificent lagoons of French Polynesia.
We highly recommend the Bora Bora Cruises for luxurious intimacy (actually a v.good value compared to the cost of a stay at a 5 star resort) or the Regent Seven Seas Cruises Paul Gaugin for a deluxe but more traditional cruise experience.
Check our Cruises page for more information

We just returned on December 23rd from our 2nd cruise on the PG. Everything they say about the ship is true! We have stayed on deck 4 and deck 6 and enjoyed them. The ship will provide 2 bottles of liquior in your cabin if you ask your attendant for the liquor list. It seems that the list is smaller than the 1st time. All drinks are included in the cost of the cruise(bars and dining rooms and pool deck). The only weak link on the cruise is the entertainment. The Tahitian dancers were wonderful but they only had 2 singers who each performed on different nights. The fitness center is small but adecuate. The marina crew are great and very patient. The pallette bar at night for star watching is wonderful. The speakers are great and worth listening to. We asked for ostyers Rockerfeller one night and the kitchen sent our 6 ostyers for each person and we had to share them with the nearby table! Also, we always chose a large table to sit at since that way we got to meet more people and enjoy their conversation. We head out to our 3rd cruise on the PG to the Marquesas on 12/6/2008.

Hello, I'm also planning to be on the PG cruise in August for my honeymoon. For the 11 day cruise, balcony suite , I was quoted $5200 plus taxes EACH.
Now I know this will be a trip of a lifetime, but am I crazy to be paying this much or is this the going cost?
This isn'tt including flight...

Hmmm.
Interesting.
When I go to www.rssc.com which is Regents web site
I see the price is B cabin $6,450 and C cabin $4,850
per person.
When I go to Brown and Keene Travel it is the same price
for 1st time client.
you are in the ball park just a couple of hundred high.

Perhaps the price Lina was quoted includes the port charges and fuel surcharges. They add up to over $400 per person on the 11 night cruises.

Beachdreamer, we're on that trip, 6/12/08 as well. It's a long way out, but I already can't wait. To the OP, there are a fair number of postings about the Paul Gauguin on cruisecritic right now, on the Regent board.

If you are so inclined, you can make a special food order and the chef prepared it for you(one day ahead). We asked for Ostyers Rockfeller and the chef prepared a plate of 6 each for 6 of us. They were great and we ended up sharing them with the table next to us!!!

Also, you are entitled to 2 bottles of liquior in your cabin. You must ask your steward for the list. If you don't ask, they won't automatically give you the list.It is not as extensive as the Regent's other ships.
