Hello...my husband and I will be cruising Dec. 20, 2007 on the Tahitian Princess. Anyone else? Also, we are going to be doing a 4WD in Raitea and Moorea. Does anyone have any pros or cons? Also, I have never cruised Princess...I know it will be great, but as far as food goes, i know that is included...I have heard that liquor is not. Is that true?

I would appreciate anything on these topic or any general advice.

Bora Bora Cruises
TahitiTravel offers excellent deals for cruising the magnificent lagoons of French Polynesia.
We highly recommend the Bora Bora Cruises for luxurious intimacy (actually a v.good value compared to the cost of a stay at a 5 star resort) or the Regent Seven Seas Cruises Paul Gaugin for a deluxe but more traditional cruise experience.
Check our Cruises page for more information

Princess is a very good cruise line...I've done about 12 with them.
the cuisine/chefs are Italian. All liquor is extra. I would book the 4x4 tours off the ship. they will be about 1/2 price. Have a great trip!!!

I haven't cruised French Polynesia, but have visited on land. Moorea is a beautiful island so I'd do a 4x4 tour of it. Bora Bora has a beautiful lagoon so I'd focus on snorkelling, ray and shark-feeding there. Huahine is a mix of the two so if you don't see land or sea on one of them (or preferred land or sea), do that on Huahine. I'm not sure what other islands you'll visit, but those are the 3 Society Islands I've been to.
