Should I bring a "din" adaptor if I bring my own regulator?

Hey bobh. When you say "my own regulator", do you mean first and second stage, gauges, octopus and inflator hose? Or do you mean the second stage only? As far as I am aware, the standard for connections are universal, but some first and second stages are forced air type, so they cannot be mixed and matched. But the gauges and inflator hoses are standard. My suggestion would be to take all of your gear (except weight belt and tank) or hire it all. I always take my own, but that's just me.

I thought the connection at the tank was different (Din rather than yoke). I will be takeing all but weights and tank.

I have only seen yoke connections in Tahiti (we've been on four diving trips there). The din adaptor isn't very big (at least not the ones I've seen) so why not just toss it in your bag just in case, although I doubt you'll need it. That way you have peace of mind.
