Yep, me too. I have some Canadian friends who go to Cuba all the time....and it strikes me as weird everytime I hear about it. Hopefully...someday...we'll stop this ridiculous embargo with Cuba. One of the more useless policies ever!

Cancun? No, give me Cuba any day. A Canadian couple was killed in Cancun several years ago & they're still no closer to solving that murder. Health care & education in Cuba is very good compared to Mexico. You can drink the water, too (try that in Mexico). Still, FP's the very best...on that we can agree!

it truly is a shame most of you can't go to Cuba, the country and the people are amazing. It is our first choice for a Caribbean destination. The most beautiful beaches in the world are in Cuba.

Yep it really is a shame. A political blunder to be sure....something that should have only lasted 2-3 years has now lasted over 45 years! Hopefully in a few years when Castro dies, our gov't will finally stop the nonesense.
