Yes, Joe, got your email and sent one back. It was GREAT meeting you and Bev on Moorea. The fire, I think, is now out, after two big rainstorms over the past few days.
We start heading home on Thursday, with our dog, Tekila. Wish us luck with the customs folks Friday at LAX, and the 7-hour drive home on Saturday!

Received your reply Barbi, thanks. Good luck with Tekila, looks like a nice pooch. She(?) guarded the porch of your bungalow very well when we pulled up the first time.
Old Wife, the fire was out by the time we left. The BBQ at Maluha's was great. It was also rain free, although the sky lit up with lightning for hours after the rain stopped.

I'm glad to hear the fire's out. Without helicopters or aircraft to drop rain on it, they're at the mercy of the weather to fight it.

Tekila flew out of Tahiti last night, one beautiful happy and lucky girl! The government should award Barbi and Randy with the "Ordre de Tahiti Nui" médaille!
