Holte, yes, someday we will be laughing, but not yet! The whole red tape process resulted in a 60-hour trip home, door to door.
Patti, this was our second (and last) dog from Moorea!

A wonderful woman named Valerie at the ATN check-in counter in PPT helped with our seats, gave us 11 A&B so we could make a quick exit near the door when we arrived at LAX, and marked our luggage "priority" -- our two bags were actually the first to come out. She knew we wanted to bolt and run to the cargo facility to get the dog as fast as we could! Great customer service, very caring people.
I'm going to try this photo thing! Here's a photo of Tekila at home in her new backyard with her Moorean brother, Nika-Iti.

Barbi, I loaded this one using the 'reply' button. Also, your picture is about twice as big as mine pixel-wise. Maybe there is a size limit when it comes to showing the actual picture versus an attachment.
