I third Le Sud(Zoe already mentioned Le Sud previously). Super thin crust pizza. Paella is also a very popular item as well. We saw a lot of couples ordering this. This is shared dish, two persons minimum.

Has anyone seen reviews for Le Matiehani at the Pearl? It's a very private four (maybe six) table restaurant facing the beach and overwater bungalows.

Side note: I'm not sure how long it will take. But the humidity will suppress your appetite. Small dishes will fill you up.

Ooh--- I was wondering about Le Matiehani as well. Two-ish years ago, we weren't particularly impressed with dinner in the main restuarant at the Pearl (caveat: it was free MAP, so we're not complaining), so held off on Le Matiehani. I'll have to take a pic of the menu when we're at the Pearl in March. We have free MAP again-- plus our two kids-- so I somehow think that Le Matiehani is not going to be happening for us ;)

I haven't tried the paella at Le Sud. I will. The pizza is awesome and you can take it back to eat on your deck. Outstanding seafood pizza. And they have the best mussels anywhere, particularly the stuffed ones. And that tiare-flavored ice cream that is so, so good....
