By the way, the Westin isn't great but it's fine for a night's sleep mostly due to the bed.

Checkin lines are often long.

Agree with Phi450 that, since its recent renovation, the Sheraton Gateway LAX is actually nicer than the Westin.

At a different price point for sure, but my airport overnight was the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey, only a few minuts farther away by cab than the Westin.
