Hi all we will be traveling to Moorea in August precruise for 3 nights. We are thinking of an OWB because this may be our only trip to FP. We love to snorkle but also just want to see this beautiful area.
Best suggestions for OWB Where to eat What to see and do Also on another note we will be flying into Papeete need to stay there one night and then we also need a place to go for the day on the return trip before our flight out. Any suggestinons? Thanks so much.

If you do a OWB on Moorea I highly suggest The Sheraton. Usually most advise on OWB on Bora Bora, *but* at the Sheraton Moorea they are amazing. Great Lagoon, the walk to the bungalows is so neat at night all those black spiky things are out! The snorkeling was wonderful.

We're partial to the Intercontinental on Tahiti and have done dayrooms there. Lovely pools, lagoonarium, reef pontoon, Le Lotus restaurant, etc.-- all lovely for when I'm in the "don't want to leave resort" mood.
Overwaters: I haven't met a resort on Moorea that I haven't liked yet ;) I wouldn't do an owb at the IC there (not fully overwater and no glass bottom table and snorkelling can be fab or blech depending on which bungalow you get). We love the Pearl and its overwaters are outstanding (go premium) and it's a superb location for walking to restaurants. We adore Le Sud and it is a five minute walk (sidewalks and streetlights now-- yay!) from the Pearl. Also loved the Sheraton (did el-cheapo garden tho, not owb) and the snorkelling is insanely good. If snorkeling is your priority and you can swing the $$$, this would be great for a couple of nights in an owb. Do rent a car and do make dinner rezzies-- loads of restaurants (including Le Sud) will come and get you.
